After the system generates the excel file we can begin to manipulate the data in the way we need it. The 1st thing to do is remove the header rows. You can select multiple rows by holding the **Control** key and clicking on the row numbers to the left. .. image:: images/R35Valuation_excelDelete.png Select rows 1 through 6, right click and select Delete. .. image:: images/R35Valuation_excelDeleteSelection.png 5. Now we want to filter the data. Click the triangle above row one. Now we can filter all of the data. .. image:: images/R35Valuation_excelSelectAll.png 6. Click on the data tab in the tool bar and then on the filter button. This gives us the ability to filter based on any criteria in any column. You will see the small box with the triangle in each column header. That is the filter button for that column. .. image:: images/R35Valuation_excelFilter.png 7. The column filter button will give us a number of options. .. image:: images/R35Valuation_excelFilterOptions.png The basic idea is to look for anything that is out of the ordinary. Abnormally high numbers stick out and 0s stick out. You can use the sort features in the filter menu to sort largest to smallest and smallest to largest. To get at more fine grained detail you can use the *Number Filters* sub menu. .. image:: images/R35Valuation_excelNumberFilters.png With these options you can drill the data down to a more manageable level and you will be able to see any problem areas more eaisily.
